Edward Davis, 29 of Norfork, and Jeffery Shepherd, 40 of Mountain Home, were arrested shortly thereafter, charged with 1st Degree Murder & Battery. A jury trial was scheduled for Davis yesterday, September 28, but it was canceled and Davis had changed his plea to guilty, earning him a sentence of 35 years in prison.

While Davis did admit to the murder, a motive has not been revealed. He is currently serving time in prison on charges separate from the murder case.
