Mountain View, Mo. – West Plains Bank and Trust Company Liberty Branch will host a fundraiser to benefit the F.E.E.D. Program in Mountain View, Mo., Oct. 15 through 31, 2020. This is the eleventh year for the bank to support the cause and all donations are being matched.
“We’re entering a time of year when local families find themselves most in need,” said West Plains Bank and Trust Company Liberty Branch Deposit Manager Stephanie Jester. “Demand increases during the holidays. Add in the pandemic and it becomes an even more crucial time to support the F.E.E.D. Program.
“We are switching things up for 2020. Instead of accepting donations of non-perishable items, we are selling apple baskets on which names can be written. Baskets will be sold for a minimum $1 donation and displayed in our branch. All donations will be presented to the F.E.E.D. Program and be used to purchase needed food items.”
