West Plains Council on the Arts to Host Ceramic Truck Painting Workshop

Art enthusiasts and craft lovers are invited to participate in a hands-on Ceramic Truck Painting Workshop this April. Hosted by the West Plains Council on the Arts (WPCA) and led by local artist Tara Shahan, the workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the West Plains Civic Center (Dogwood 1&2), located at 110 St. Louis St., West Plains, MO.

The workshop fee is $45, which includes all necessary supplies. Participants will receive step-by-step guidance on painting techniques, color selection, and design ideas to personalize their ceramic truck. Measuring 10.5 inches long, 5.25 inches high, and 5.75 inches wide, the truck can be used as a decorative piece or functional container for plants and trinkets throughout the seasons.
