West Plains, Mo. – West Plains Senior Jordan Kantola signed with St. Louis University to run cross country and track beginning fall of 2022. Jordan received an athletic and academic scholarship for St. Louis University.
St. Louis University (SLU) is an NCAA Division 1 school and competes in the Atlantic Conference. Founded in 1818 by Bishop Louis DuBourg, SLU is the oldest university west of the Mississippi River and the second-oldest Jesuit university in the United States.
Jordan won the 2021 state cross country title just ahead of her twin sister, Brayden, less than a full second ahead. Jordan finished in 18:28.5, while Brayden was second in 18:29.4. While in high school, Jordan has participated in choir, band, swim, Beta, and the National Honor Society. Brayden plans to join the military after graduation.
