West Plains, MO. – On August 28th, the West Plains Fire Department, and various other local fire departments, will be taking part in the “Fill The Boot” charity event. This will be the 68th annual piece in a long-standing tradition.
The Fill the Boot program seeks to raise critical funds to help transform the lives of kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related muscle-debilitating diseases. Last year, $8,500 was raised within the West Plains area.

This year, the West Plains Fire Department will be located at Missouri Ave. and Broadway, West Main & Minnesota St., and Harlin Drive & Garrett St.. Find them there and help them achieve and exceed last years goals by dropping by and donating!
