A West Plains man is charged with kidnapping, assault and unlawful use of a weapon after an incident in the Junction Hill area. Court records show that Dalton Thompson is accused of holding the victim against her will in a bedroom by standing at the doorway with a loaded handgun. Thompson was arrested after the Howell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call at the residence. Thompson is out on bond, with arraignment set for January 21.
