West Plains Man Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges

West Plains, MO. – A man was recently arrested by the West Plains Police Department, who managed to stack up several felonies as he performed criminal actions and fled from police.

Brandon Stokes of West Plains was originally wanted for charges of Domestic Assault and Kidnapping. Stokes had additionally become the suspect of a burglary on Hubert Redburn Drive. He was found on February 27th and fled on foot from police.

On February 29th, Stokes was located again on Walnut Street in West Plains, and officers responded to take him into custody. Stokes once again attempted to flee on foot, but was eventually taken into custody, despite continued attempts to resist arrest, and injuring one of the officers.

Stokes was arrested on charges including 2nd Degree Assault of a Special Victim, Resisting Arrest for a Felony, and Unlawful Possession of an Illegal Weapon.
