According to the probable cause statement, Walker went to a residence on 4th Street in West Plains after discovering several people were at the house where his child and its mother lived. Witnesses inside the residence stated Walker forced his way into the house after knocking at the door and it was opened by the resident, at one point kicking the door, leaving a muddy footprint. After entering the residence, witnesses told officers Walker had a tire iron and threatened to hit everyone in the house. The occupants then fled to a back room but, Walker pinned the mother of his child against the wall, hitting the wall, stabbed the door with a knife, and attempted to take her phone after she said she would contact law enforcement.

Police were able to see damage on the door consistent with someone punching it recently and a muddy footprint on the front door. The officers were able to find a knife on the suspect and were able to secure it.

Walker has pled not guilty to the charges and will return to court on Monday, June 5, 2023, for a bond appearance hearing.
