West Plains, MO. – The Howell County Sheriff’s Office had reported 58-year-old Brian Weldon as missing yesterday, Friday, August 2, 2024, around 2:00 p.m.
This morning, Saturday, August 3, 2024, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office released a second report stating that Brian Weldon had been located around 7:46 a.m. No more information has been released on the whereabouts or the reasoning behind where he was found or why he was missing.

In the post they released the Sheriff’s Office stated, ” This morning Mr. Brian Weldon was confirmed as safe by the Howell County Sheriff’s Office. We appreciate all of the community support in sharing his information so that he could be located. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!”
