West Plains, Mo. – A West Plains man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash early Saturday morning. According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred 1.5 miles south of West Plains on Highway 17 at 12:10 a.m. February 11, 2022.
A northbound 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Connor Rackley, 20, ran off the right side of the roadway, overturned and caught fire. Rackley suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. The driver had been wearing a safety device.
A GoFundMe that was setup by a family member states that he was further transported to Mercy Hospital and will require multiple surgeries including treatment for a broken pelvis.
