The West Plains Police Department received a call at approximately 7:12 p.m. Tuesday evening from a male subject. The caller told dispatch there was a vehicle parked on his private drive off of County Road 4000 and inside the vehicle were two people who appeared to be deceased.
Responding officers arrived on scene and located a male and female victims in a vehicle deceased from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
At this time, the identities of the male and female victims are not being released pending notification of next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation. Further information will be made available when appropriate.
