Dana White on UFC’s Return Event This Weekend: ‘Somebody Has to Be First’

There’s anxiety because this will be the first major sporting event since the onset of COVID-19 in the U.S., but UFC boss Dana White said, “Nobody wants to be first. Everybody who is involved in this event wants to be involved in this event. From my employees on up. Somebody has to be first.”

The fight is slated to take place Saturday at 10 p.m. ET.

UFC 249 and two other events will take place in Florida without fans.
