West Plains Public Library Announces A Way To Get Free McDonald’s By Reading

West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Public Library recently announced its new program to get children free McDonalds by reading. This program is called the Happy McReader program.

Starting on June 3rd, children up to the age of 17 will be able to go to the library and pick up a Happy McReader punch card. For every book the child reads and returns to the library, they will receive one punch on their cards. All books must be verified by one of the members of the library staff.

Once the card is filled with ten punches, the child can take it to McDonald’s and exchange it for a Happy Meal. This program was made possible by the support of Andi Hilburn-Vaini and West Plains McDonald’s. It was started to get children to continue their reading through the summer and to ignite a love for books.
