The West Plains R-VII School District is rallying around Zizzer athlete Lexi Williams and her family as she battles a serious health condition. Lexi was recently diagnosed with a virus that caused her immune system to attack her nervous system, resulting in paralysis.
To support Lexi and her family, the district is hosting several fundraising events:

- Lexi Williams Night: Join us on Friday, January 10, during the boys’ Freshman and JV basketball games against Mountain Grove. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at West Plains High School, with all gate proceeds going directly to Lexi and her family. Join us in showing Lexi and her family the strength and support of our Zizzer community.
- Dessert Auction: Don’t miss the chance to bid on delicious pies and other desserts during halftime of the JV game. Desserts have been generously donated by school board members, Roy’s Store, and several community members.
