The West Plains Senior Center is closed today, April 4, due to the threat of severe weather and potential flooding in the area.
The closure was announced by Joy Pace, Administrator and Activity Director of the West Plains Senior Center, as a safety precaution for both seniors and staff.
“Due to the severe weather in the forecast and the potential for flooding, we’ve made the decision to close the center today,” said Pace.
Residents who depend on the center’s services are urged to stay informed and take appropriate safety measures during the storm. Information about reopening will be shared once conditions improve.
