West Plains Woman Arrested on Active Warrants, Resisting, and Drug Charges

West Plains, MO. – A West Plains woman received additional charges when deputies attempted to make an arrest on Friday, April 15, 2022.

At approximately 4:04 p.m. on April 15, a deputy with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Allison L. Harris, age 58 at Ace Muffler on State Route ZZ in West Plains, MO on an active arrest warrant out of the Howell County. During the course of affecting the arrest, Harris became combative and resisted the arrest. After a short struggle, Harris was placed under arrest for the active warrant and transported the the Howell County Sheriff’s Office.

Harris was held in the Howell County Jail on felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Property Damage, Stealing $750 or more, and Resisting Arrest. She posted bond of $27,500 on April 19, 2022.
