William Wolfe Sentenced to Life in Prison for 2020 Shooting Death

Ava, MO. – Earlier this year, felon William Wolfe was convicted of 1st Degree Murder for an incident in 2020. This week, Wolfe has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

This sentencing surrounds the death of Clarence Clark. Deputies responded to the residence of Clark to perform a well-being check, only to find the man dead with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s vehicle was spotted being driven away from the scene by Wolfe. The initial chase was stopped, but Wolfe was caught the next day after crashing the vehicle.
