Willow Springs, MO. – A crash that occurred at 4:30am Tuesday has ended in the injury of the driver and damage to 20ft of guardrail on US 60.
A 2012 Chevy pickup was being driven Westbound by Leland Patterson, 67 of Mt. Vernon, MO. Leland crashed roughly 4 miles East of Willow Springs after he fell asleep at the wheel. He then struck the guardrail before the vehicle came to rest.
Patterson was wearing his safety device and suffered minor injuries in the crash, for which he was transported by Willow Springs Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Master Sergeant S.N. Foster of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
