Willow Springs Resident Crashes, Facing Drug Charges

West Plains, MO. – A Willow Springs resident was involved in an accident near West Plains, and both injuries and criminal charges have come about as a result.

This event took place on Saturday, January 6th, at roughly 1:15 a.m. David Fine, a 49-year-old from Willow Springs, is reported as having been driving a Ford F150 eastbound on Highway CC, when he ran off the roadway and struck a field driveway.

The damage to the vehicle was minor, and Fine himself suffered only minor injuries. However, an arrest report indicates that Fine was found in possession of a controlled substance and will face a felony charge of Possession of Meth, and a misdemeanor charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Fine was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, but reports show he has since been released.
