Winona, MO. – A woman from Winona has been hospitalized after a collision that occurred last night.
This accident was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G Corporal M. Barron. A Nissan Altima was being operated to travel westbound on County Road 450. At 2 miles west of Winona, at approximately 9:42pm, the driver travelled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The damage to the car was extensive, but the driver, identified as Billy Tarlton, a 44-year-old Winona man, was uninjured. One passenger, however, was inflicted with moderate injuries. She was identified as Madelynne Prewett, a 28-year-old female from Winona.
Prewett was transported to Mercy in Springfield, where she was treated for her injuries.
