West Plains Area Farmers Market (WPAFM) cares about the impact coronavirus (COVID-19) has on our community and we are monitoring the guidelines from the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“We are providing hand sanitizers at our vendor tables, disinfecting doorknobs, tables, chairs and any materials touched, we are wearing disposable gloves when handling produce and we are washing our hands constantly,” said Caleb Porter, WPAFM market manager. “Additionally, we are spraying the air inside the Trillium Trust Community Center’s room with Lysol to keep the area sanitized. Our priorities are the health of our visitors and vendors, and we continue the food safety and cleanliness procedures we always have in place.”
Available at the market are fresh and local organic vegetables, USDA inspected beef and pork, pasture-raised chicken and rabbit meats, local non-GMO eggs, raw, unfiltered honey, homemade jams, jellies, preserves and syrups, healthy kombucha, homemade granola, artisan breads, baked goods plus other goodies.
