WPPD arrests suspect of numerous burglaries

During the investigation of numerous burglaries that have been reported at Wilbanks Tire, Cutting Warehouse, Grumps Grub, and Posey Patch; a suspect was identified as Tyler Lee Kenyon, 24, of West Plains.

On Saturday, October 17, Kenyon was arrested by the Missouri Highway Patrol and was taken into custody for outstanding warrants from Howell and Ozark County.  Kenyon is a repeat offender and was released on Parole on January 31, 2020 for Burglary.

West Plains Investigators interviewed Kenyon regarding the burglaries that occurred at Wilbanks Tire, Cutting Warehouse, Grumps Grub, and Posey Patch, whereas Kenyon implicated himself in those incidents. Kenyon was arrested for these burglaries where he remains in Howell County Jail Facility pending charges.

Kenyon is also suspect in several other incidents, burglaries of businesses, within the City of West Plains that investigators have on-going investigations.
