A Yukon woman was injured Wednesday evening in a single‑vehicle crash five miles south of Houston. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:35 p.m. on Highway 17 when a southbound 2008 Pontiac Vibe ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, a 55‑year‑old woman, was not wearing a seat belt and sustained moderate injuries. She was transported by Texas County Memorial Hospital Ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

She is also facing charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain the Right Half of the Roadway Resulting in a Accident, No Insurance and No Seatbelt.
