Amanda Jean Sterner daughter of John Sterner and Gloria (Gould) Sterner was born on August 25th 1980 in Fayette, Missouri. She went to her heavenly home on August 13th, 2026 at her home near Cabool, MO at 45 years of age.
Amanda was affectionately known by her friends and family as “Pooh”. This name was given to her as a toddler because of her love for Winnie the Pooh stories. As she got older she lived her life by her own rules and made no excuses for it. Through it all she retained her heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
She married Marty Todd and to this union two sons were born, Jonathon and James.
She was proud of both of her children. Years later after her and Marty divorced she married Christian Thacker who was a great help to her as her health was failing.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandaughter Elizabeth Todd, maternal grandparents John Lacy and Mildred Lacy, paternal grandparents Glen Sterner and Melba Strong,
She is survived by her husband Christian Thacker, parents John and Gloria Sterner, one sister Robyn Bloomer (Wade), her two sons Jonathon Todd and James Todd, and her grandaughter Maddox Todd and many other relatives and friends.
There will be a private celebration of life to be announced at a later date under the direction of The Elliot-Gentry Carder Funeral Home, Cabool, Missouri.
