Barbara Louise Adams, born 1955, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at home with her family.
Barbara attended Liberty Grove and Willow Springs Schools. She lived most of her life in Willow Springs. Barbara and her husband, Clay Adams, owned and operated Fox Hollow Sawmill for over 35 years. Barbara and Clay were married many years ago in Willow Springs at a family home. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her friends and family. Barbara was an incredible cook. She truly made the world’s best pies. Her food had just the right amount of love mixed into it. Her recipes could be attempted, but never replicated. Barbara lived her life with grace, dignity, integrity, and courage. She made everyone that met her smile. She touched numerous lives with her strength and humor. She was an inspiration for all she met and never ran out of room for the ones she loved. She was truly unforgettable.
Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon; her father, Harley; her mother, Elva; and her nephew, Jonah.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Clay Adams, her son and his wife, Burl and Tonya Coonts. Three brothers, Larry, Gary, and Ivan. Three grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, and Justice. Four step grandchildren, Nichole, Jaden, Talan, and Kylie, and various friends and family.
A visitation for Barbara will be held at Willow Funeral Home, LLC. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM with her memorial service immediately following at 10:00 AM with Pastor David Lovan officiating.
