Bob Dean Cropper

Bob Dean Cropper, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, while at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. He was born September 28, 1937 to Sidney Coleman and Ophelia (Trivett) Cropper in Paso Robles, CA; he was 82 years old.
Bob grew up and attended the schools in CA. He was an over the road and coast to coast truck driver and worked for GSN Trucking Company in New York for many years until his retirement in 2009. On September 3, 1977, he was married to P. Joann Nielson in Las Vegas, NV. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Willow Springs and belonged to the Knights of Columbus organization, obtaining Fourth Degree. After his retirement, he enjoyed playing Solitaire and watching spaghetti westerns. He and his wife also remodeled their entire house. He cared for his wife who suffered from lung cancer until her passing in 2012. He especially loved playing with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family, his friends, and all who loved him.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents; his wife of 35 years, and a grandson, Allen Cropper.
He is survived by his children: Julie Kunz and her husband, David of Monrovia, MD, Sheila Mickelson and her husband, Mike of Oregon, Rory Lozano, James Cropper of Mesa, AZ, Edna Cropper Young and her husband, Howard of Willow Springs, and Raymond Cropper and his wife, Simone of Bella Vista, AR. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Veronica, Caroline, Jennifer, Zach, Clifford, April, Scarlett, Tonia, Scott, Tommy, Christopher, Robert, Kelley, Kyle, Kirsten, and Riah, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A private graveside service for family only will be held Monday, March 30, 2020 with Father Sherman Wall officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC. Online condolences may be left at www.willowspringsfuneralhome.com
