Brian Scott Brooks, 58 years, 4 months, and 28 days old, passed away at his home in Isabella, MO on October 2, 2021. He was born on May 04, 1963, in Morrison IL, to Gary Brooks and Carol (Gibson) Hendrix.
Brian graduated from Walnut High School in Walnut, IL. He was an avid Chiefs fan and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, boating, motorcycling, but his true passion was hitting the trails on his side by side. Brian was a friend to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed.
Brian is survived by his wife, Tonya Brooks of Isabella MO; his parents Gary Brooks of Walnut IL, and Mother Carol (Gibson) Hendrix of Shawnee, KS; his children Makala Brooks of Branson MO, and Garrett Brooks of Lincoln, NE; stepchildren and Spouses Becky (Tim) McCullough of Hockley, TX, Steve Carpenter Jr and Cassie of Langan, MO, and Rachael (Michael) Williams of Theodosia, MO ; 8 grandchildren Neveah Farrar, Judge and Zoey McCullough, Hunter and Rae Lynn Williams, Kahsa, Kiera, and Kyren Carpenter; sisters Darla (Steve) Rangel of Prophetstown IL, Sandy (Rick) Whiles of Hurdland MO, brother Ronald and wife Julie Jacobs of Mechanicsville VA.
The family honored Brian’s wish for cremation. A private memorial was held at Glade Top. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
