Charles “Charlie” Albert Miller, of Willow Springs, the son of the late Samuel Miller and Donna (Dillon) Miller, was born on September 25, 1956, in Kansas City, MO. He passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, with his wife and stepdaughter by his side. He was 68 years old.
Charles grew up in California where he worked as an electrician. He moved to Missouri in his mid-thirties. He was united in marriage to Connie Daniels in 2000. Some years later, Charles and Connie purchased Barnett Heating and Cooling, which they moved from West Plains to Willow Springs where they made their home. He continued to work at their business until his death. Charles enjoyed keeping busy and was always working on something. Connie couldn’t even mention a project idea before Charles went out and bought the supplies to start on it. He was often called MacGyver because he could just about fix anything. Charles loved to cook and enjoyed trying new recipes. He loved his doggies and could often be found with them in his chair watching court tv. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Anyone who got to know him knew that he would do anything to help them, and he made life-long friends through the business.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his only son, Randal Miller, and his sister, Sandra Perona.
Charles is survived by his wife, Connie; his stepdaughter, Carrie Schaumburg and husband Scott, of Koshkonong, Missouri; his daughter-in-law, Megan Miller, of Thayer, Missouri; his sisters, Pati Hope, of Marana, Arizona and Cathy Franklin and husband, Johnny of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren, Emit, Asher, Elias, Brayden, Cayden, and Olivia; and many nieces and nephews.
