Memorial Services for Cheryl Lanette Glasscock, Age 59 of Mountain View, Missouri will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at The Yarber Mortuary Chapel, Mountain View, Missouri, beginning at 11:00 AM.
Cheryl Lanette Glasscock was born on November 17, 1956, in Willow Springs, Missouri, to Clarence O. Wade, Jr. and Kathryn M. (Schwein) Wade. She passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Mountain View, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Herman Eugene Glasscock, on July 22, 2026, in Mountain View. To this union, two children were born, Heath Jerad and Sarah Corrina.
Cheryl spent a lifetime serving her Lord and Savior. She joined the Church of the Nazarene in Mountain View, in July of 2021, where she faithfully attended all services. She loved to sing with the choir and would be clapping and lifting her hands and praising God while singing her favorite songs of worship. She was an inspiration to everyone during choir practice as well as on Sunday mornings and will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wade, Jr., and her sister, Wanda Sue Wade.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Herman Glasscock of Mountain View, MO; her children, Heath Glasscock and Sarah Glasscock both of Mountain View; her mother, Kathryn Wade of Mountain View; her brother, Steven L. Wade of Mountain View; her sisters, Dianne B. Miller and husband, Johnnie of Black, MO, and Charleen Woolsey of Mountain View; and many nieces, nephews, and special family members.
