Clois “James” Brown

Clois James “Jamie” Brown was born August 11, 1962, in Cabool, Missouri, to George and Thelma Mae (Davis) Brown. He was called to his heavenly home on September 15, 2024, at the family home with his wife by his side. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, and hunting.

He married Linda (Shipley) Brown on May 16, 1997, and through the marriage, there were five children, Teresa, Tammi, James Jr., Clifton, and Leann. He had five grandchildren that he loved so dearly Emilee, Caleb, Addison, Jonas, and Gracie.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the family home; his children, Teresa (Dean) Ledbetter, Tammi (Jonathon) Tilley, James (Danika) Brown, Jr., Clifton “Leroy” Brown, and Leann (John) Dobyns; his grandchildren, Emilee Phelps, Caleb Brown, Addison Brown, Jonas Dobyns, and Gracie Dobyns; his brother, Larry (Peggy) Brown; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mae Brown; his brother, Lonnie Brown; his grandson, Denzil Brown; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Holmes Flat Rock Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri, with C.L. Stage officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs.  Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
