Corine Malavet, 58, of Gainesville, MO passed away March 27, 2023 at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, MO. She was born November 10, 1964 in Brooksville, FL to Lee Bolton and Nancy Smith.
Corine grew up in Brooksville, Florida and moved to Gainesville in 2009. She worked for Mountain Home Public Schools for ten years. She loved her family, going to church and working. She was the kind of person who never seemed to sit still, always busy doing something. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to many. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Luis Malavet of the home; her mother Nancy Stafne and husband Gerald of Gainesville, MO; her father Lee Bolton and wife Anita of Kentucky; two daughters Haley Rowland and husband Jason of Mtn Home, AR, and Tiffany Malavet of Winsted, CT; two grandchildren Myles and Jayce Rowland; two brothers Waylon Smith of Brandon, FL and Gayle Bolton of Spring Hill, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Ross Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Brushy Knob Cemetery near Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as a Love Offering to Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, PO Box 65, Gainesville, MO 65655.
