Deborah Marie McClary, 69 years, 11 months, and 27 days old, passed away on November 18, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, with her family by her side.
Deborah Marie was born November 22, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, to James Earl and Catherine (Becker) Couch.
Deborah was raised by Opal and Gerald Essary in north east Arkansas. They later moved to Caulfield, Missouri, and Deborah graduated from West Plains High School.
She attended services at Blackjack for many years.
While working at Baxter Lab, she met James, and on July 2, 1976, Deborah Marie Couch and James Louis McClary were united in marriage in Gainseville, Missouri.
She loved horses all her life, loved fishing with Jimmy on Bryant, and loved being Grand Maw Mimi. She enjoyed crafting and making Christmas trees. Her dog Pepper will miss her greatly.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, James McClary.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Angelia Marsh, and son J.D. McClary and wife Joy; grandchildren, Larissa Marsh, Logan Marsh Carmichael, Landon Marsh, Caiden (L.J.) Carmichael, Josey McClary, and Miranda McClary. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Snell of Fredonia, Kansas, Sandy Becker, Missy Becker and Vicky Becker of St. Louis, and brothers David Couch and Jim Couch also of St. Louis.
Graveside services for Deborah will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Blanche Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Butch McCleary. Memorials may be made to the family to help with cost or to Blanche Cemetery. Services are being conducted by the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava. Her body will lie in state Wednesday afternoon.
