Delores (Dee) Maxine Sillyman Scott, age 77 passed away November 17, 2024 in Houston, Missouri. Born October 1, 1947 in Bucyrus, Missouri to Howard Sillyman and Mildred Manley-McCarry.
Dee is preceded in death by her parents and loving step-father, John McCarry, and sister, Barbara Garrett.
Dee is survived by children, Kelly Chapman-Hill (Jack) of Houston, MO; Mary Chapman-Bochantin (Cathi) of Granite City, IL; and Karla Bell-Odom of Union, Missouri; grandchildren, Krista Amburn McClanahan (Manny) of Eldon, MO, Jonathon Amburn (Megan) of Union, MO, Dylan Bell of Union, MO, Nick Byington of Granite City, IL, Kaden Bell of Houston, MO, Andrew Chapman of Houston, MO, and Christopher Hill of Houston, MO; as well as 24 great-grandchildren.
Dee enjoyed gardening and loved her flower beds. She loved visiting with family and friends and her best gal, Izzy, who was her constant fur-baby companion. Dee was also a proud member of the Houston Church of Christ. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
