Deloris (Young) Rawson, 90, passed away on January 12, 2020, in Mountain View, Missouri. She was born on April 2, 1929, to Thomas and Julia (Barns) Young in Detroit, Michigan. She was united in marriage to William Howard Rawson on July 18, 1948, and to this union five children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Julia; husband, William; three brothers, Dale Young (Harriet), Dowlin Young (Daisy) and Charlie Young ( Margie); and one sister, Lily (Calvin).
She is survived by children, Linda Rawson, Thomas Rawson (Kathryn), Julie Bond (David) all of Mountain View, Missouri, Martha Vendt (Timothy) of Boscawen, New Hampshire and Ruth Finley (Ronnie) of Birch Tree, Missouri; sister, Nanna Lee Finch of Eagle Point, Oregon; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Deloris was a member of the Las Palmas Community Church of the Nazarene in Indio, California and attended the First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Missouri. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier in California. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them; they will all miss her deeply.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2020, at Yarber Mortuary Chapel, Mountain View, Missouri. Visitation will be at 10:00 until service time also at the chapel.
