Donald Gene Leonard, 73, of Gainesville, MO passed away September 11, 2022 in Springdale, AR. He was born August 4, 1949 in St Louis, MO to Leroy and Dorris (Duffel) Leonard.
Donald was a veteran serving in the Army during Vietnam. He moved to the Ozarks in the mid 1980’s and made his home in Gainesville. He worked for many years as a carpenter. He also worked briefly in the water well drilling business. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Leonard and Dorris Marlatt; and one brother Jerry Leonard. He is survived by one daughter Bobbie Rader of Foley, AL; two grandchildren Joey McCune and wife Savannah, and Krysta Rader; two great grandchildren Greyson and Kennedy McCune; one sister Mary Evans of Mocksville, NC; and one brother Richard Leonard.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022 in the Fowler Chapel Cemetery near Caulfield, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
