Glen William Cox, 73 years and 19 days old, passed away on January 31, 2022 at his home in Mansfield, MO.
Glen was born January 12, 1949 in Ava, MO to Orville and Effie (Fleetwood) Cox.
He grew up in the Ava community and was a 1966 Ava High School graduate. Glen got the opportunity to attend the School of the Ozarks in Hollister, MO.
On June 2, 1973 Glen and Joann Nell were united in marriage at Ava, MO and they were blessed with two daughters, Mary Jane and Sabrina.
Glen was a jack of all trades. He loved Carpentry work, motorcycles, playing tennis and was a collector of all things. He had previously worked at Rawlings and Spaldings Manufacturing Companies in Ava. In his later years he worked as a Security Guard with South Oaks Center in Springfield, MO. He was a Christian and attended the Beaver Church where his older brother preached for many years. Glen loved God and his family!
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dale and Keith Cox.
Glen is survived by his two daughters and their spouses, Mary Jane & James Bailey III and Sabrina & Brian Maggard, 10 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two brothers, Doyle & Ronnie Cox, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside services for Glen will be at Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the Rush/Hodge Cemetery, Pee Wee Crossing Road in Seymour, MO.
