Surviving is his wife of 59 years; one daughter, Stephanie (Shannon) Andrews of East Peoria; one son, Steve (Renee) Shannon of Cabool, Missouri; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (Paul) Beilman of Las Vegas, Nevada and one brother, Lewis (Claudia) Shannon of Shawnee, Kansas.He was preceded in death by his parents; one great-granddaughter, Monrhowe Aaron; one sister, Daisy Moore and one brother, John Shannon.Harold had worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria for 43 years in the transmission dept. retiring in 2008. He was a member of the UAW Local 974 in East Peoria.
A loving and dedicated husband, dad and grandpa, Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and doing photography.
