Hase “Dude” Tetrick, 93 years, 2 months, and 30 days old, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025 at Heart of the Ozarks with his children by his side.
Hase was born November 25, 1931 in Trail, Missouri to Lewis and Valley (Tate) Tetrick.
He was raised in Ozark County near the Douglas County line.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and served honorably in the Korean War.
On July 24, 1952 Hase and Stella Glendoris (Russell) were united in marriage at Hardy, Arkansas, and to this union three children were born, Gary, Mike, and Becky.
Hase worked as a Truck Driver for years and then later in 1984 he and Glendoris opened the Pine Ridge Trading Post Store in Brixey, MO.
He was saved and baptized in the Bryant Creek in September of 2010.
Hase was full of life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coon hunting, and his horses. Hase loved people and enjoyed visiting and telling stories. He never met a stranger.
Hase was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Glendoris; son, Gary; granddaughter, Dusty Dawn; brothers, Kimon “Casey”, Hat, Harry, Haskel, Hade, Narvil, and Dwight; and one sister, Ima.
Hase is survived by son and wife, Mike and Sherry Tetrick, daughter and husband, Becky and Joe Heitz; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; his siblings, Wendell, Ferd “Spud”, and Debbie; many nieces, nephews, extended family, numerous friends and his hound dog, Red.
A memorial graveside celebration of life will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eaton Cemetery, Drury, MO in Ozark County with military honors by the U.S. Army and Troy Herd American Legion 112. Officiating will be Pastor T. J. Stout. Family requests donations to Eaton Cemetery or Gentryville Church. Cremation was conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO per his request.
