It is with great sadness the family of Rebecca Jean Whited announce her passing on February 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family in Ava, Missouri.
Rebecca was born to her father, Norman L. Gamache, and mother, Jerry J. Jones, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on June 15, 1963.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Robert Whited; five children, Shasta Alba, Katie Woodward, Kiley Lira, Jobe Falcon, and Angel Martinez; two step children, Keenan Whited and Micah Whited, along with numerous grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kyle Alba, her father, Norman Gamache and mother, Jerry Jones; two siblings, David Gamache and Melissa Goltz, along with her children’s father, a wonderful friend, Nieves Alba.
Rebecca was known for her bubbly, loving, nurturing personality. She was a wife, a sister, a mother, and grandmother. She loved to go to the beach, camping, and fishing. Rebecca enjoyed long drives with her husband. Most of all, she loved her family. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were her whole world and they are what always kept her going. She is truly loved and the strongest woman we have ever known. Rebecca will be missed by many.
Cremation services for Rebecca are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Ava, Missouri.
