Jacqueline Ann Frealy was born the daughter of Virgil Vivian and Cecilia DeVivo Vivian on November 22, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on February 28, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 89 years.
She was united in marriage to David N. Frealy on February 22, 1957, who preceded her in death.
Jackie is survived by seven children, Deborah Lundry and husband, Everett, Glennon Frealy and wife, Brenda, Linda Frealy, Donald Frealy, Kathryn Weiss and husband, James, Barbara Mustion and husband, Terry, and Stanley Frealy and wife, Lanette; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Vivian; other relatives; and a multitude of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Cecilia Vivian; one grandson, Austin James Frealy; one grandson-in-law, Bryan Logan Tate; one sister, Virginia Feil; and two brothers, Dick Vivian and Eugene Vivian.
Jackie was a long-time member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Thayer, Missouri.
She attended college in St. Louis and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse for over sixty-two years, serving in hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.
Jackie was a supporter of Boy’s Town. She also supported the March of Dimes, helping in many fundraisers.
In her spare time, she liked to work crossword puzzles and make photo albums. She made photo albums of her family and made photo albums for her children showing their family history.
Jackie loved food, family and country. She traveled around the country with David and her family while David was in the military.
Most important to Jackie was her family. She loved holidays and other times when all her family got together. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Jacqueline A. Frealy will be held on March 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Thayer, Missouri with Father Maurice Chukwukere officiating.
The family will receive friends on March 4, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
Burial will be at Koshkonong Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.
