Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Eunice; brother, Wayne Atchison; sister, Brenda Atchison; and son-in-law, Wayne Brewer.

He was a logger most of his life. The family business took them to Colorado and Wyoming, where for many years they spent the summer months camping high in the mountains in order to work.

Eddie was a master builder and was able to construct anything. He could mix his own concrete, pour a foundation and build a home and then also, tear a motor apart and rebuild it, all with an eighth-grade education. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, hunting, camping, and riding side by sides. His friends and neighbors knew him as kindhearted and a helping hand.

He had recently began attending church at Calvary Baptist. Though he was a man of few words, everyone knew how much he loved his family and how proud he was of them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and there will forever be a void in our hearts.
