Jerry Lynn “Fuzz” Archer was born September 7, 1937 to George B and Seattle Virginia (Honeycutt) Archer. Jerry grew up in Cabool, MO. He worked for and retired from Mid-Am/DFA.
On February 2, 1990 he was married to Linda Doriene Mitchell. Jerry always said he chose that date so he would never forget his anniversary as it was Groundhog Day.
After retirement Jerry enjoyed running his sawmill as well as woodworking. He found joy in sawing up lumber to build things for his family and even provided the lumber for a home addition for his stepdaughter and her children. He also spent time teaching his grandchildren how to run his woodworking tools, memories they will cherish forever.
Jerry spent many of his mornings enjoying a cup of coffee around the “liars’ table” at the local restaurants with his friends. He was a kind man who never met a stranger. He had many friends and neighbors whom he would consider family and spent much of his time with.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Tommy and Larry Archer; two infant brothers; his wife Linda; one granddaughter, Nocona and two great-grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by one brother, Galen Archer; his sisters-in-law; his three stepchildren, Timothy Privett (Barbara), Tammy Cathey (Jim), and Teresa Keehner (Richard); 9 grandchildren, Michael, Gailene, Coty, Ashley, Amber, Telisha, Miranda, Levi, and Tess; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends who will miss him greatly
