Jimmie Clair Bracken, 93 years, 3 months, 4 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on February 23, 2024 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, Missouri.
Jimmie was born November 19, 1930 in Phoenix, Arizona to J. Clair and Elizabeth Georgie (Mobley) Bracken.
Jimmie was raised in the Liberty community. He was a Korean War U.S. Air Force Veteran and served as an aircraft mechanic in Chandler, Arizona. In Arizona he worked at the Arizona Public Service Electric Company for several years. Later on Jimmie moved to the Ozarks in Ava, Missouri to work as a rancher.
Jimmie was married to Barbara Bradbury and together were blessed with a son, Michael. She and Michael preceded in death.
Years later, on April 2, 2016 Jimmie and Agnes (Candler) were united in marriage in Ava, Missouri.
Jimmie was a man of faith. He loved praying for people and had a healing ministry that was very dear to his heart. In the past he attended the Assembly of God Church. He was currently attending the Goodhope General Baptist Church with Agnes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Bracken; his wife, Barbara; and a son, Michael Henry Bracken in 2018.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Agnes; his children and their spouses, Diana and Brian Seymore and Dennis and Mary Bracken; grandchildren, Daniel Seymore, Brielle Rawlings-Dube, Tiffany Bracken; step grandson, Joshua Pfahning; great grandchildren, Annabelle, Evelyn and Jude; step great granddaughter, Tallulah; other relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral services for Jimmie will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri with burial following in the Fannon Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Air Force detail and Troy Herd American Legion Post 112. Visitation will be prior to the service on Monday at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Jack Clemans.
