June Marie Lesher was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, on June 13, 1960, to Guy and Verna (Gingrich) Thierwechter. She departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2022, in Winona, Missouri, at the age of 61.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Verna Thierwechter, and her late husband, Marlin Lesher.
June is survived by two sons, Gary Thierwechter and wife, Raeanna of Frystown, PA, and Robert Carter and wife, Carly of Winona, MO; two sisters, Cindy Tice and husband Mike of Myerstown, PA, and Susie Marderness of Reading, PA; three nieces, Ashley Marderness, Corinna Absher, and Amy Sterner all of Reading, PA; one nephew, Michael Tice of Reading, PA; four grandchildren, Huxley, Dawson, Gavin, and Darnell.
June had a passion for sewing and crocheting. She worked as a seamstress for a clothing manufacturer for fifteen years. She also enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and her dogs. June’s family was the greatest joy in her life, and she loved spending as much time as she could with them.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
