Larry Etcyl Haskins, 79 years, 1 month, and 17 days old, passed away on March 16, 2023 at his home.
Larry was born January 28, 1944 in Ozark County, MO to John W. and Naomi (Gaulding) Haskins.
He was raised in the Thornfield community. Larry was a veteran and served with the U.S. Air Force.
Larry enjoyed riding motorcycles and hunting. He also liked to visit with family and friends and loved to spoil his dog, L.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Naomi.
Larry is survived by his two children, Gavin Haskins and Melinda Allen; siblings, John Haskins of Mounds, IL, Herbert Michael Haskins of Lawson, MO and Brenda Haskins of Kansas City, MO; many nieces; nephews; his neighbor and close friend, James Heath and other extended family and friends.
Memorial services for Larry will be Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with Pastor David Dye officiating. Military honors are being conducted by the Troy Herd American Legion Post 112 and U.S. Air Force Detail. Larry’s cremated remains will be buried in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO at a later date.
