Larry Eugene Contreras, 57, passed peacefully on November 11, 2024, at his home in Tecumseh, MO with God and his family by his side. He was born to Richard and Patsy Contreras June 20, 1967, in Apple Valley California.
Larry loved his family first and foremost. He married his soulmate Annia June 18th, 1988, and they had two children together, Brian and Brianna Contreras. Most of his time was spent with them. He was a dedicated, hardworking man. He was faithful and God fearing. A protector always. Larry was a loyal, honest person. He was a helper to all. He was very giving to others, a greatly heartfelt and genuine friend. He was a skilled builder/construction worker most of his life. Also, Larry was a professional truck driver for 15 years. He was a jack of all trades, master of none as he would say. However, he loved working with wood. Building/creating plus wood turning was his passion/hobby.
Larry is survived by Annia Contreras (wife), Brian Contreras (son) Brianna Contreras (daughter), Mike Contreras (brother), Joe Contreras (brother), Steve Contreras (brother), Juanita Contreras (sister), Suzy Contreras (sister), and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Richard Contreras (father), Patsy Contreras (mother), Mary Koch (grandmother), and all other grandparents.
His church home was with Anew Church of Gainesville, Mo.
He was greatly loved and will be missed dearly.
