Larry John Yonker, 79 years, 2 months, 9 days old, passed away on December 10, 2023 at Cox South in Springfield, Mo, with family by his side.
Larry was born October 1, 1944 in Los Angeles, California to John and Rose (Pullman) Yonker.
Larry and Marcia Lefler were united in marriage on May 15, 1965 in Downey, California and to this union three children were born.
Larry enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, spending time with his family and friends, and making salsa and fudge to share with those he loved. He especially enjoyed sharing life with his close friends and community in Arno, MO.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty and his wife Marcia.
Larry is survived by three children, Tammy Jenkins, Steve Yonker and wife, Sheri, and Michael Yonker and wife Celia, ten grandchildren, Jessica (and husband Jordan), Jacob, Troy, Taylor (and husband Chris), Tess, Tommy (and wife MyKayla), Tylee, Ty, Caden and Caleb, nine great-grandchildren, Aubree, Zaylee, Eden, Lydia, Emmett, Masyn, Dean, Miles and Eli, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Larry will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Arno Cemetery off of Hwy. Y in Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
