Leslie King, 74 of West Plains, Missouri, passed away peacefully January 23, 2024 at Ozarks Healthcare.
She was born January 15,1950 in San Mateo, California to Dallas and Pauline Carter. She was a 1968 graduate from Carlmont High school and attended San Mateo college from 1968-1970. She was a Christian and attended Genesis church until her health declined.
July 6, 1970 she was married to Jack Manion and to that union three children were born. Later in life, she met Rick King the one who gave her the greatest life. They were married on June 21, 2008.
Survived by her husband Rick King of West Plains, daughter Lisa (Jonathan) Meade of West Plains, Missouri, Mike (Shannon) Manion of Tucson, Arizona and Bob (Melody) Manion of West Plains, Missouri.
Six grandchildren. Kristen Manion of Kansas City Missouri, Emily Manion of Colorado Springs Colorado, Carter Manion of Springfield Missouri, Hannah Manion, Izzi Manion & Hunter Ast of West Plains, Missouri. One great-granddaughter Remi Heinitz of West Plains Missouri.
Her brother Jeff Carter from Half Moon Bay California, and three nieces, Jennifer Carter state of California, Loree (Jeff) Blake of Half Moon Bay, California and Julie (Kevin) Kavanaugh from Pacifica California, nine great-nieces & nephews.
Proceeded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Linda Carter of Half Moon Bay, California.
Memorial services will be held at His Place House of Worship on Saturday, January 27th at 10:30am.
