Linnie Sue Morris

Linnie Sue Morris, 67, of Violet Hill, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Violet Hill, Arkansas. 

Linnie was born on August 22, 1956, in Newport, Arkansas, to Leonard Owens and Feno (Earls) Owens. Linnie was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Morris in Fisher, Arkansas on December 5, 1978, and to this union one son, Billy Morris, was born. Linnie graduated from Weiner High School and then attended Delta Vocational School. Linnie loved her family and enjoyed fishing, painting, and teaching children. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend, and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas.

Linnie leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Bobby Morris of Violet Hill, Arkansas; son, Billy Morris of Booneville, Arkansas; brother, Terry Asher of Bald Knob, Arkansas; two sisters, Joan Asher of Newport, Arkansas and Connie Harper of Judsonia, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents (Leonard and Feno Owens) and two brothers (Dale Earls and Teddy Fryer). 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Higgins and Bro. Gregory Yount officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on July 29, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Fisher Cemetery in Fisher, Arkansas at 2:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Jackie Morris, Kevin Morris, Dakota Day, Ronnie Cook, Keith Cook, Cory Kirby, Bill Blanchard, Troy Morris, Troy Morris II, and Gary Morris. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
