Leon and Jane Overstreet were united in marriage, and to this union three children were born, Cassandra, Bridget, and Clint.

He was saved at a young age at a small church in Douglas County.

Leon enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was always on the water or in the woods at Onion Gap with family and friends.  If you couldn’t find him in either of those places he was probably in his shop working on restoring old cars and trucks. Leon would also never pass up a good auction.  He started taking his kids to auctions at a young age every Friday night.  They still love them today.  Leon loved being outdoors, riding around in his putt putt with his dog Penny.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clint Overstreet; daughter, Leslie Caudill; grandson, Brent Overstreet; and nine siblings.

Leon is survived by his significant other, Trish; daughters, Lynn Caudill, Lora Caudill, Cassandra Cornett and her fiance, Mike Dodson and Bridget Huff and her husband, Shannon; four grandchildren, Cody, Deandra, Jonathan, and Ruger; great-granddaughter, Esther; and many other relatives and friends.

A private family service will be at a later date. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.
